237 Duffield is a 22 story residential rental building in downtown Brooklyn. The ground floor and two below grade basement levels provide commercial retail space including an outdoor terrace. Some units feature private terraces and the rooftop is a common terrace.

Structure:
The primary building structure is cast in place flat plate concrete supported on spread and mat footings. The lateral system consists of concrete shear walls. To avoid underpinning the neighboring building a portion of the 2nd cellar level was omitted and drilled caissons to rock were used.
